Economic:
This article speaks about how Cadbury's sales and profit has increased in India, in 2009 it was about 20%, 2010 30% and 2011 it was 40% here we can see the profit trend increase. According to "branding expert and Nobby Brand Architects Founder and CEO Nabunkur Gupta" Cadbury's acquisition by Kraft has improved it's distribution around the world. This would slightly impact the Ferrero company because that means that on a global scale Cadbury is earning more profit than Ferrero and since they have become more competitive that means the Ferrero company would have to also become more competitive.

Sociocultural
This article relates to the sociocultural aspect of PEST because Ferrero has placed an emphasis on safety which falls under the sociocultural part of PEST. The impact that this has on the company is that it generates positive responses for the company and assurance that the customers don't have to worry about consuming the products.

This would impact the marketing part of the company because they could market the Kinder product in their advertisements etc with a logo of the Food and Toys safety department to assure customers they can consume it. A negative impact on the production part of the company would be that the production costs would go up to ensure the quality and safety of the product.
